Here at Figure 8 Studios, we value time that is spent with the Arts every week and provide many different genres and options to explore. We have something for every age group and welcome your ideas and goals for your portfolio!
We welcome students who have no experience, students who have some experience and want to try new things, and professional artists who want a chance to collaborate and build rapport with like minded individuals.
Most classes are taught or co-taught with Tricia (Mrs. A), but there are several other Art instructors and amazing collaborators/guest artists involved!

Learn techniques and styles of putting together a good composition, stitching it together, either by machine or hand. We will cover fabric ideas, incorporating mixed media, various stitching and embroidery techniques. We will have a lot of time to explore fabric manipulation, some elementary dyeing techniques, and stitching (of course)!
