If you’re looking for summer camp in Fredericksburg, VA  for your kiddos, check out our art camp! Kids crave structure, and while relaxing at home is fun for a while, you really need activities to break up the monotony of summer vacation. We have so many fun activities planned; your kids are in for a real treat when they join us. Kids can get out of the house, express their creativity, make new friends and break up the “I’m bored” blues that summer vacation can bring. Camp will be held from July 24 through July 28, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.

During the morning, we will work on our larger projects. We will then break for lunch and in the afternoon we will work on our smaller projects and soak up some sunshine with outdoor activities.

Schedule

Here are the larger projects we have slated for your kids to create.

  • Monday – Pottery Projects including a mug or bowl, air-dry clay plant, bracelets and a small owl
  • Tuesday – Image transfer to wood. You can bring your own image or print one at the studio.
  • Wednesday – Glazing pottery projects to be fired
  • Thursday – Canvas painting done in a step-by-step paint party style
  • Friday – Yarn birds, shrinky dinks and putting all the finishing touches on unfinished projects from the week.

Smaller projects and activities

Throughout the week we have plenty of other fun activities and smaller projects.

  • Popsicle airplanes
  • Scrap metal monsters with oven bake clay
  • Perler beads
  • Fabric scrap crafts
